US House of Representatives Honor Kind of Blue!

On Tuesday, December 16th, US Lawmakers voted 409-0 to pass a symbolic resolution honoring the masterpiece and reaffirming jazz as a national treasure.
The measure praises the landmark album’s "unique contribution" to jazz and urges the US government to "take all appropriate steps" to preserve and promote jazz.
Originally released on August 17th, 1959, Miles Davis’ landmark album is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and is the bestselling album in Jazz history

I've been exploring the jazz genre recently and a friend of mine gave me the "Kind of Blue" boxset for Christmas. It seems Santa knew exactly what I needed. I'll suggest this type of songs to be played in my schools jazz band.
